What is Tinycart?

Tinycart is an all-in-one fully hosted ecommerce sofware solution that allows you to easily set up an online store to sell goods and services. Once setup is complete, you'll be provided with an administrator's content management area to help you manage all aspects of your online store.

Using Tinycart lets you add and organise products, accept ecommerce payments, track orders and customise the design of your store at a competitive and affordable rate.

 

Do I need to install any special software ?

No you don't. There's are no softwares or extensions to install. This makes it really easy to create your online store.

There are also no SSL certificates or API's to install either. All you need is a modern web browser like Firefox, Google Chrome, Edge or Safari and you're ready to go!

 

Do I need any technical or programming skills?

No you do not require a programming or technical skill to manage your Tinycart store.

All of our store themes can be customised in a simple point and click editor. You can also add and edit products, pages, blog articles, menus and more, and manage your orders on your stores front page without seeing any code.

 

How long does it take to set up my store?

Unlike most ecommerce store builders, Tinycart Stores are created instantly — as soon as you complete the signup form. You can then start customising the look of your store by adding things like your logo, your products, creating collections (or categories) for your products, and then adding them to your stores menu.

Depending on how much preparation you've done (such as taking photos of your products and writing product descriptions), you can set up your store and start receiving orders within a day or two.

 

What do I need to start selling?

You will need product(s) and or service(s) you wish to sell.

A method of receiving payments. Please checkout our payment gateways.

A modern web browser like Firefox, Google Chrome, Edge or Safari to use your store's admin interface.

 

What do I need to setup a store?

To set up an ecommerce store, you just need to complete the signup form. You will then be asked to verify your email address before your store is set up.

It takes just a few minutes to get going, and once your ecommerce store is set up and you can start customising the look of your store. 

 

Are there limitations on the trial plan?

There are a few limitations on our trial plans. This is so that we can avoid abuse of our systems by unscrupulous people that wish to take advantage of the free trial and have no intention of starting an online store.

Our trial plans currently restrict the amount of orders that you can receive to 10 orders, so you can test your store's checkout. You also can't set up email addresses or use your own domain name until you've activated your store.

 

What happens at the end of the trial period?

At the end of the trial period, we send you an email asking you if you want to activate it. If you don't respond after 7 days, or don't activate your store, it is then closed down.

We don't keep your contact details either… and don't harass you. Our free trial is totally obligation free!

 

What do I need to accept credit card payments?

Tinycart currently integrates with Paypal, Stripe, Paystack as gateways for receiving online payments. To receive credit card payments on your Tinycart store, you will need to have a merchant account with one of these providers.

 

Can I use my own domain name with my store?

You sure can! To add your own domain name, you just log in to your store's admin, and add your domain name there. Once we receive the request to add your own domain, you will have your online store on your own domain within 24 to 48 hours.

 

Can I use Tinycart if I leave outside Australia?

Yes! Tinycart is available to anyone anywhere in world.
